Pre-Algebra I and II

I'm very excited to be teaching Pre-Algebra this year.  In Pre-Algebra, students will be encouraged to work independently as well as collaboratively.  Asking questions for comprehension and clarification is strongly encouraged in class. This course will cover conceptual understanding of Pre-Algebra concepts building to a foundational understanding of Algebra concepts. The purpose of this course is to prepare students for success in future high school Algebra coursework.  Assistance outside of class will be given cheerfully.  Students are required to have a math composition notebook for all homework and classwork. We will be preparing for the HSPT in the upcoming weeks.
