Annual SJS Book Fair; Our Saints Will "Owl-Ways Be Reading"

Thank you to all of the SJS Community for supporting our annual book fair. Our teachers wish lists were generously fulfilled, books were flying off the shelves, and the love for reading was ignited in our students!

Book Fair Highlights

• The Book Fair again transformed our already beautiful school library into a wondrous book lover’s paradise.

• Final sales figures are still in process. So far, we have sold about $21,000, which beats the sales we earned last year.

• Our coin drive was quite successful. Our students contributed $1339.61. The top three classes in contribution amounts were: 5B (Mrs. Applegate), 2W (Miss Denneny) and 1B (Mrs. Wright).

• Our raffle baskets were won by Elisa B. (OWL) and Finn H.(STAR WARS). Thank you to all who bought tickets.

• Money from the coin drive and raffle ticket sales was used to buy 150 new books for the library.

• Our Book Fair team of Lisa Bare, Heather Brown, Wendy Duncan and Lisa Pearce would like to thank all parents and students who shopped and volunteered, all faculty, all school and parish staff and our SJS Hospitality committee (Lizzy Young, Lauren Labbe and Lisa Schultz).

• We look forward to planning another FUN book fair for SJS in 2016!
