Sunday, January 29, 2017 Catholic Schools: Communities of Faith, Knowledge and Service in Our Parish ~The St. Joseph School Community will give the gift of prayer to the parishioners in the parish by remembering them in prayer during daily intentions at the opening of school.
~Students will speak at all masses inviting parishioners to attend the Open House and to attest to their experience and belief in Catholic Education.
~The Children’s Choir will sing at the 11:30 mass.
Monday, January 30, 2017 Catholic Schools: Communities of Faith, Knowledge and Service in Our Community ~Daily Morning prayer intentions will be offered for all parishioners and leaders in our community.
~Talent Show Rehearsal at 12:45 p.m.
~St. Joseph School will be conducting a
service project for the community by collecting needed items for LINK. Each grade is asked to donate a specific item. Donations will be collected all week through Friday, February 3
th.

Kindergarten – Boxed potato dishes
First Grade – Boxed meals (Tuna Helper, etc.)
Second Grade – Pancake Mix
Third Grade – Hearty canned soups like
Chunky or
Progresso Fourth Grade – Jelly
Fifth Grade – Canned meat, especially chicken
Sixth Grade – Diapers
Seventh Grade – Toiletries, for example: toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo and conditioner, deodorant, soap, etc.
Eighth Grade – Household cleaning products

Red, White & Blue Optional Dress Out Day!Students may dress out in red, white and blue - $2.00 donation to benefit the Archdiocese for The Military Services, USA whose mission is to serve those who serve. (jeans are permitted)
~Daily morning prayer intentions will be offered for all parishioners, military personnel, religious and political leaders.
~Afternoon Student Assembly – The Bureau of Lectures & Mutual of Omaha will present

Catholic Schools: Communities of Faith, Knowledge and Service In Our Vocations ~Each grade will “adopt” a Friar in Formation. On this day students will write their adopted Friar in Formation to thank them for their commitment to God and to tell them of SJS’s support and the prayers being offered for them throughout the year.

Student Talent Show: Students will display their talents during the annual talent show from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m.

~The 9:30 mass will conclude the weeklong celebration of Catholic Schools Week at St. Joseph School,
All parents and volunteers are encouraged to attend and will be recognized as true partners in Catholic Education.
