With the help of SJS students and the Ecology Club, we have been able to donate a generous supply of vegetables to the Embry Rucker Shelter for the homeless. Students start by planting seeds in our very own SJS greenhouse. The fruits and vegetables are then taken to the SJS garden, located outside the 6th grade classrooms, to be harvested. We are proud of our students and how they displayed perfect examples of works of Mercy. Special thanks to Mr. Rucker and our facility team for tending to the garden over the summer. Our garden is truly a partnership between the parish staff and SJS!
