Mrs. Conroy's Test Prep Tips for
 Performance Series® by Scantron

The Catholic Schools Office in the Diocese of Arlington has adopted  Performance Series® by Scantron as the new diagnostic and placement tool. Testing at SJS begins on Monday, September 12th.

The test will be administered electronically to students in grades 3, 5, and 6 on September 12, 13, and 15.

Grades 4 and 7 will test on September 19, 20 and 22.

Tests will be administered in the mornings only.

Mrs. Conroy's Test Prep Tips: 

1. Explain to your child the importance of using time wisely. If your child gets stuck on a question, encourage him/her to make the best guess and continue working.
2. Make certain your child gets a good night’s sleep and a healthy breakfast before taking the test
3. Try to make the morning a pleasant one. Avoid stress
4. Be sure that your child arrives on time the day of the test.
5. Remind your child to listen carefully to the instructions from the teacher and to read the directors and each question carefully.
6. Encourage your child to stay focused on the test, even if other students finish early.
