New School Lunch Program Announced
for 2016-17 School Year

Dear SJS Parents and Guardians,

Fairfax Food Service is honored to provide the hot lunch program at St. Joseph School for the upcoming 2016/2017 school year! Since 1970, our family owned business has been perfecting the art of preparing high-quality, nutritious meals that kids will actually eat. Every day we feed over 6000 children attending parochial & private schools, childcare centers, and summer camps in the greater Washington DC Metropolitan area.

Producing healthy menus is our main goal! In this process we are also aware that not all
children’s tastes are accustomed to new flavors. Therefore, we do our best to find a balance in foods that meet our stringent nutritional guidelines while simultaneously providing visual appeal, as well as, matching taste preferences of our toughest food critics; the children!  We will reach out periodically throughout the school year for feedback to add and/or remove items from the student requests. We do our best to keep the most popular items in the menu rotation, while introducing new items whenever possible.
 
Once we have the St. Joseph School menu in place you will receive a Letter of Instructions for placing your monthly order. We are looking forward to working with everyone and becoming part of the St. Joseph School community.
