Saints "Rock the Socks" and Raise
Over $1,000 for Children in Need

The Y.E.S. Club would like to thank the SJS community for being very generous with their donations. The money collected will bring joy to the faces of many!

“ Rock the Socks” service project was held on Wednesday, May 4th. This event was organized by the SJS Y.E.S. Club. Students donated $2 or more and wore their craziest socks to school. The amount donated by our Saints was $1,195.
These generous donations will be sent to a charity in Mexico called “ Dibujando Sonrisas” in Spanish, and in English it is called “ Drawing Smiles.” This charity gives Christmas gifts to the children who live in poverty-stricken areas of Mexico. “Dibujando Sonrisas” also makes sure that the children have everything necessary to survive the winter, such as winter coats and gloves.
