SJS Students Skype with Author Stuart Gibbs

Students in grades 4-8 had a wonderful time Skype-ing with Stuart Gibbs on Tuesday, September 20th in the SJS library. 35 SJS students were in attendance (and a few parents) along with our Librarian, Mrs. Brown. The students asked terrific questions and really enjoyed learning about Mr. Gibbs' writing process, his inspirations for his books, and his love of ice cream. We also collected donations for the Nature Conservancy.  

Thank you to Georgia H. for reaching out to Mr. Gibbs via email at the end of last school year to see if he would Skype with us - she gets a lot of credit for making this happen!
