Our 6th grade volunteers helped to collect more than 4.5 tons of food for needy families Thank you all for a job well done. Please share the joyful news of this kind act of mercy.
The Fall Harvest food collection to support the St. Lucy Project was a huge success! Through the generosity of St. Joseph's parishioners, we collected 9184 pounds of food and $3200 in monetary donations. All this was facilitated by the fantastic volunteers from the sixth grade class of St. Joseph's School, the St. Joseph's Men's Society and the Knights of Columbus. This act of mercy will go a long way in meeting the needs of those families in the Diocese of Arlington who do not have the means to have enough food for their families. A sincere thank you to all those who participated either through donation or volunteering.
