Cost: Registration is $25. And dues will vary from troop to troop but are about $25 a year.
Time Commitment: Unlike a season of soccer or basketball, GS runs thru the school year, not just one season (and in to the summer depending on troop)
When are the meetings: Meetings are determined by the volunteer leader; so until a troop is formed we don’t know the answer to this. If you want to participate and are only available on certain days, consider volunteering to lead and you can set the schedule.
Volunteers Welcome!
In addition to having your daughter join would mom or dad be interested in helping out. We are in need leaders and co-leaders, but if that does not fit into your schedule, there are plenty of other opportunities to help your child's troop ranging from teaching a craft or skill, being the troop money manger, or helping to get the girls to a field trip. The biggest benefit of volunteering is that you get to spend time with your daughter!

St. Joseph Catholic Church has a very active Cub Scout Pack (Pack 913) for students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Students in any of these grades may join the pack any time throughout the school year.
The pack is very active, and many of our scouts are also involved in other activities such as sports, music, and martial arts. Scouting is designed for maximum fun for all Cubs, while learning important skills and reinforcing core values such as family, faith, respectful relationships, citizenship, and helping others through individual achievement. Activities throughout the school year include:
Scouts in sixth through eighth grade are eligible to join Scouts BSA Troop 913. Both our Cub Scout Pack and Scouts BSA Troop are youth ministries chartered through St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Volunteers Welcome! Cub scouts is a family scouting program. We welcome mom or dad in helping, whether it be as a member of the Pack Committee, a Den Leader, or assisting in just one yearly event like our annual Blue and Gold Banquet. There are plenty of opportunities to be involved and have fun!
